Bastille Day

We were lucky enough to experience Bastille Day on the 14th July; although it did mean we were a part of the massive crowds. Another life experience to add to the list.

Arc de Triomphe

Some French Legionnaires agreed to pose with Nikki

A small part of the air display

Nikki did find a distraction or two from all the masculinity on display. Fortunately the stores were closed.

Next stop was to be Notre Dame, but it was time to admit that we needed some help. That came in the form of Dean who pedalled us there with some friendly banter along the way.

We ended the day with the massive fireworks display. Photos don’t do it justice, but here are a few anyway.
