Roland Garros – Ladies Final

Women’s Singles Final

Coco Gauff captured her first French Open title in spectacular fashion, defeating top seed Aryna Sabalenka in a thrilling three-set match: 6‑7(5), 6‑2, 6‑4. This marks Gauff’s second Grand Slam title overall.

  • She is the first American woman to win Roland Garros since Serena Williams in 2015, and the youngest since Serena in 2002.
  • The match was a rollercoaster, with momentum swings and over 100 unforced errors, but Gauff held her nerve when it mattered most.
  • Celebrations included an emotional hug with film director Spike Lee, who was among the fans cheering her on.

🏆 Men’s Doubles Final

Veteran pair Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos finally secured their long-awaited Grand Slam title, beating British duo Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski 6‑0, 6‑7(5), 7‑5.

  • After a dominant opening set, Granollers and Zeballos had to dig deep to close out the win.
  • It was an emotional moment for both players, especially Granollers, who had come up short in several previous finals.

♿ Wheelchair Tennis Finals

  • Men’s Singles: Japan’s Tokito Oda won his third consecutive French Open title by defeating Alfie Hewett 6‑4, 7‑6(6).
  • Women’s Singles: Fellow Japanese player Yui Kamiji earned her fifth Roland Garros singles crown, dispatching Aniek van Koot 6‑2, 6‑2.
  • Men’s Doubles: The British pair Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid claimed their sixth straight title in Paris with a hard-fought victory.

Onto the fantasy league leaderboard and for the 2nd straight day there is nothing really to report in terms of the leaderboard. The top 11 had no change. 12th place saw ‘Faulty Feet’ and ‘YNot’ move up a place. There was also no change to 30th spot with there still being a tie between ‘Pat’s Pick’ and ‘Hard Hitters’. There is also no change to 75th spot with ‘Randomizer’ still holding their position. ‘Double Trouble’ was eliminated on ladies final day with the loss of Sabalenka.

Just a reminder that if you are highlighted in Yellow then you have picked the ladies final winner, Coco Gauff.
