Carlos Alcaraz had a shaky middle stretch but eventually pushed past Damir Dzumhur in four sets: 6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. After a strong start, he had to dig deep to avoid a fifth set.
🇷🇸 Djokovic Eases Through
Novak Djokovic looked sharp, brushing aside Filip Misolic in straight sets. This win marked his 99th at Roland Garros, equaling his tally in Melbourne. He also paid tribute to Rafael Nadal in his post-match comments.
🇺🇸 U.S. Men Make History
Tommy Paul, Ben Shelton, and Frances Tiafoe all reached the last 16 — a feat American men hadn’t accomplished at the French Open since 1995.
Women’s Draw: Swiatek and Others Cruise
Iga Swiatek continued her unbeaten run in Paris, now at 24 matches, with a straight-sets win over Cristian. Aryna Sabalenka and Zheng Qinwen also moved on with ease.

Top seed Jannik Sinner demolished Jiri Lehecka with a ruthless 6-0, 6-1, 6-2 win, extending his unbeaten Grand Slam streak to 17 matches.
🇺🇸 Tommy Paul Ends a Long Drought
Tommy Paul defeated Alexei Popyrin in straight sets to become the first American man in over two decades (since Agassi in 2003) to reach the Roland Garros quarterfinals.
🇫🇷 Boisson’s Historic Run
French wild card Lois Boisson shocked Elsa Jacquemot to reach the fourth round. At No. 361 in the world, she became the lowest-ranked player to reach this stage in over 40 years.
The Fantasy Leaderboard
Onto the fantasy leaderboard and there is now a tie for 1st place between ‘Down the Line’ and ‘Left is Best’. Just 1 singular point behind in 3rd is ‘Rally Tally Score’. The top 3 then have built a gap of 8 points to 4th who are ‘Clay Crusher’. ‘Back on Court!’ sits in 5th with a 3 way tie for the last prize position in 6th place. There is now a 30th place however 6 teams occupy it so all to play for there. 75th place is occupied by ‘Randomizer’ and the wooden spoon has changed again and ‘New Balls Please’ move back into bottom spot.
