French Open – Day 8
What a French Open we are having. Another top 10 ladies seed falls on day 8, meaning that only Kenin(4) and Swiatek(8) remain. The big name was number 7 seed, Serena Williams, who lost in straight sets to 21st seed, Elena Rybakina. Pavlychenkova(31) also caused on upset over 15th seed, Azarenka and Badosa continues her run off form by beating 20th seed, Vondrousova in 3 sets. So many upsets in the ladies draw whereas on the mens draw, not one upset on day 8. Zverev, Medvedev and Tsitsipas all progressing in straight sets to the quarter-finals. Medvedev and Tsitsipas to face in a mouthwatering quarter-final clash.
Three mens picks lost on day 8, those men were Garin(1 pick), Nishikori(4 picks) and Carreno Busta (3 picks). Just two ladies picks lost, Williams(5 picks) and Azarenka (2 picks).
The Fantasy leaders ,’Ronan the man’, lead has shrunk to just 2 points. The top 5 still only separated by just 9 points.
