With 3 days remaining until entries close, there are 31 teams entered. My initial goal was to reach 33/34 teams as that would mean the winner walks away with a total of R1000 rand. Now I’m pushing for 40 teams because then the 2nd prize would be R200. Could we reach it? I think we can.

Collins beat Pliskova 7-6(5); 7-6(3)

Podoroska beat Kvitova 5-7; 6-1; 7-6(7)

Some very tight matches today. Is this a sign to what we can expect in the Aussie Open?
