On Wednesday we took the waterbus to Murano famous for it’s glass blowing, an industry that was forced off Venice due to safety concerns (a out-or-control fire could destroy all of Venice) , and Burano famous for its lace products and colourful houses.

It may have been the heat but both of us rated these ice creams as contenders for the best of the trip so far.
