Another delayed post – my apologies. Day 6 saw 20th seed, Fritz, come back from sets to 1 down to beat the 15th seed, Bautista-Agut. Tsitsipas and Sinner both came through in tough 4 set matches. Medvedev, Auger-Aliassime and De Minaur all came through their matches in straight sets. The big upset came when 27th seed, Cilic, managed to play one of the matches of his career to beat 5th seed Rublev in 4 sets. Collins, Kanepi and Sabalenka came through their matches in 3 sets. Cornet continued with her good form as she beat 29th seed Zidansek in 3 sets. Halep and Swiatek both cruised in their 3rd round encounters. Sabalenka was once again pushed to three sets as she beat Vondrousova. Cirstea managed to pull off an upset as she beat 10th seed Pavlyuvhenkova in 3 sets.

There has been a complete change at the top of the leaderboard. ‘Novax Needed’ now lead by 1 point over ‘To immunity and Beyond’. 3rd place is ‘Magic Team’ who is just 1 point behind 2nd and 2 points behind 1st. There is still a tie for 4th but this time its between ‘Guys and Dolls’ and ‘Bella Napoli’. Poor day at the office for ‘Root Shots’, ‘Justice’ and ‘You’ve Met Your Match’ who have all dropped down the leaderboard. At the other end of the leaderboard – ‘Meerkat’ have moved up above ‘Vax on Vax off’ to try and avoid the wooden spoon.
