Australian Open – Day 3

From Halep coming back from 5-2 down in the third set, Kyrgios saving a match point to win in 5 sets, Djokovic being put under pressure by Tiafoe or Thiem flying into the 3rd round – day 3 had it all. There were also some big upsets on Day 3: Kvitova, Andreescu and Rybakina crashing out in the Ladies draw. Wawrinka and Humbert crashing out in the mens draw.

In terms of the fantasy tournament, ‘Guys and Dolls’ remain in the lead. A few changes though, throughout the rest of the field. A few people who picked Halep and Kyrgios were on edge today but thankfully both scraped through. Here is the leaderboard after Day 3. PS, I am loving the banter on the website!

Congratulations to Gillian for holding onto her lead from yesterday.

With only half of Round 2 complete, lots more changes will be made before the end of the round. Can “Guys and Dolls” hold onto the lead for a third consecutive day? Only time will tell! Bring on tomorrow!

There is a slight change in the leaderboard. “Aud’s Djokovators” and “AO Tennis Balls” improved because Muguruza’s score from today was left out.
