Wimbledon Championships- Day 4

In the ladies draw – Cornet, Tomljanovic, Badosa, Kvitova, Zheng, Rybakina, Krejcikova, Martic, Frech, Halep and Gauff all won their 2nd round matches in straight sets. The British crowd were behind their lady, Boulter, as she came back from a set down to knock out the 6th seed and last years runner-up in 3 sets. Tan backed up her win against Serena as she knocked out 32nd seed, Sorribes Tormo, in straight sets. Pegula struggled past unseeded Brit, Dart. She lost the first set and then went on to win in 3 sets. Number 1 in the world, Swiatek had a tight match against unseeded, Kerkhove, eventually coming through 6-3 in the 3rd set. The 20th seed, Anisimova, also struggled as she was another player to come from a set down to knock out fellow American, Davis.
In the men’s draw; Molcan, Fritz, Kyrgios, Sonego, Tsitsipas, Garin, Brooksby and Kubler won their 2nd round matches in straight sets. Nakashima also knocked out a seed as he beat last years semi-finalist, Shapovalov, in 4 sets. Nadal did not play his best tennis as he beat Berankis in 4 sets. Sock beat the in form Cressy in 4 sets while De Minaur beat Brit, Draper in 4 sets. De Minaur vs Draper was an amazing display of tennis.
