Australian Open – Ladies Final
Can you believe it, the ladies are done! Congratulations to Naomi Osaka for winning her fourth grand slam and her second Australian Open. Well done to Jennifer Brady for making it to her first grand slam final. What a run it was! The final was very close and the first set could’ve gone either way as both ladies had chances. Osaka took the early lead but Brady hit back and the score was 4-4. Osaka then had to save a break point to hold and lead 5-4. Brady looked like she was going to hold comfortably at 40-15 but Osaka won 4 points in a row to take the opening set 6-4. Osaka then flew to a 4-0 lead in the second set. Brady broke Osaka back but a double break down was just too much for her. Osaka taking the second set 6-3.
