We had breakfast on the 35th floor Sky Garden of the ‘Walkie Talkie’. Our host, guide and temporary mom then took as for for a walk along the Thames for one last look at London.<\/p>\n

Nikki :<\/p>\n

We enjoyed a lovely start to our day with a light breakfast at Sky Garden<\/a> together with Karin. What incredible views of London! It was such fun identifying the places we visited during the week. We then visited Borough Market<\/a>, a delicious food market, and bought some cheesecake. We continued walking alongside the Thames past Shakespeare\u2019s Globe<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we left on our road trip at about 14h30. It was a hot car journey with no air-con, but oh so grateful for Karin\u2019s little car. We made two navigation mistakes, but we reached our destination in good time even stopping for a drink along the way. We arrived at about 17h10 in Alvescot<\/a>. Beautiful accommodation<\/a> and a warm, friendly welcome! We enjoyed a delicious meal at the local pub before falling asleep after another special and memorable day.<\/span><\/p>\n
