{"id":50,"date":"2017-07-03T23:08:51","date_gmt":"2017-07-03T23:08:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eishonline.co.za\/travel\/?p=50"},"modified":"2020-07-01T19:53:43","modified_gmt":"2020-07-01T19:53:43","slug":"cape-town-to-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/eishonline.co.za\/travel\/2017\/07\/03\/cape-town-to-london\/","title":{"rendered":"Cape Town to London\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re on our way.<\/p>\n<p>In theory a 5pm flight to Europe is perfect you get a full day to pack, &#8216;supper&#8217; on the plane and a good night&#8217;s sleep&#8230; Unless you don&#8217;t sleep.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 hour flight to Istanbul was smooth and not too long. For us newbies Ataturk airport was quite an experience. \u00a0It&#8217;s a massive terminus and it serves thousands of people. And they are all seemingly going in different directions. A great test for the weeks to come.<\/p>\n<p>At 4 or 5 or was it 6? Tired brains and three time zones to account for had us a little confused, the connecting flight was a tough ask. .. And the flight was late.<\/p>\n<p>But all this was so worth it. \u00a0Karin is such an awesome host.
