On Wednesday we took the waterbus to Murano famous for it’s glass blowing, an industry that was forced off Venice due to safety concerns (a out-or-control fire could destroy all of Venice) , and Burano famous for its lace products and colourful houses.<\/p>\n

It may have been the heat but both of us rated these ice creams as contenders for the best of the trip so far.<\/p>\n

\nWe ended the day with dinner at what is reputed as being the oldest restaurant in Venice, Poste Vecie.<\/p>\n
