A Wimbledon filled with upsets, 5/3 setters, super tiebreaks and some really great tennis to watch. The men’s final was a big one. Djokovic going for 4 Wimbledon’s in a row and a 7th Wimbledon title while his opponent, Kyrgios was going for his first grand slam title and was trying to keep the fact that he had never lost to Djokovic. The match started just like Djokovic’s 2 previous rounds with the number 1 seed dropping the first set. He was the first to break in the 2nd set and held the break all the way to take the 2nd set 6-3 and make it 1 set all. The 4th set was weird in the sense that it was Djokovic holding serve easily while Kyrgios struggled on serve. At 4-4 in the 3rd set Kyrgios seemed to be holding easily at 40-0 before Djokovic won 5 points in a row to get the break and in the end the set 6-4. Djokovic went off for a bathroom break which allowed Kyrgios some time to contemplate and at the beginning of the 4th set we saw a positive Nick Kyrgios for once. This time unlike the 3rd set we went all the way to a tiebreak. Kyrgios started the tiebreak with a double fault which was the worst possible thing to do. He then found himself 5-1 down at the change over and the 6-1 down and 5 championship points to Djokovic. 2 aces saved the first to 2 championship points. A great point which ended in a Kyrgios netting his backhand and Djokovic had won another Wimbledon title.

Onto the fantasy leaderboard and there was a few changes at the top. The winner of R1100 with a dominant display is ‘Team Kickbutt‘. In 2nd place winning R550 is ‘Boris the Grand Slammer‘. In 3rd place just 5 points behind 2nd is ‘Kick My Ace‘. In 4th place moving up 1 spot on day 14 to win more money is ‘Grassettini‘ who wins R150. There was a tie for 5th which means the R100 will be split between ‘My Dream Team‘ and ‘Lucky Lady‘. Lastly the winner of the wooden spoon with a measly 67 points was ‘Kiss My Ace‘.

Well done to everyone who participated. This one was a tough one to call as there were so many upsets especially on the ladies side of the draw. A massive congratulations goes to ‘Queen’s Jubilee‘ who finished in 13th but was the only team to pick Rybakina and Djokovic the eventual winners of this year’s Wimbledon Championships. Congratulations to ‘Team Kickbutt’ and ‘The Last Minute Player’ who picked the best male team and well done to ‘Another Try’ who picked the best ladies team.

Blue means the team picked both the winners

Yellow means the team picked either the men’s or the ladies winner

Top Half

Bottom Half

Results from Day 14

Djokovic(1) beat Kyrgios – 4-6; 6-3; 6-4; 7-6(3)

Below is the Team of tournament – Team Kickbutt

Below are the best Males Teams Picked

Team Kickbutt’s Males

Last Minute Player – Males

Below is the best ladies team picked – Another Try

Another Try’s Ladies

Lastly here is the best possible team you could’ve picked

Best Possible Team

Day 14 was the last day of Wimbledon 2022.
