Despite the hype, the match was one-sided. Osaka, showing flashes of her Grand Slam-winning form, dismantled Gauff in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. It marked Osaka\u2019s first Grand Slam quarterfinal appearance since her 2021 Australian Open win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed, also cruised through her match against Cristina Bucsa, winning 6-1, 6-4. Sabalenka\u2019s aggressive baseline play and powerful serve proved too much for Bucsa to handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcaa Men\u2019s Singles: Titans Advance, Americans Falter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic both booked their quarterfinal spots with commanding wins. Alcaraz defeated Arthur Rinderknech 7-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Djokovic looked sharp in his 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 win over Jan-Lennard Struff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor Fritz, the last American hope, kept the stars and stripes alive with a straight-set win over Tomas Machac, 6-4, 6-3, 6-3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd25 Other Notable Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jannik Sinner obliterated Alexander Bublik 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 in a statement win that reaffirmed his title defense ambitions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lorenzo Musetti continued his impressive run, defeating Jaume Munar 6-3, 6-0, 6-1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Felix Auger-Aliassime is the last man standing that no one picked and he outlasted Andrey Rublev in a high-quality encounter, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alex de Minaur breezed past Leandro Riedi 6-3, 6-2, 6-1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fantasy Leaderboard:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Onto the fantasy leaderboard and we have an outright leader once again and it is &#8216;Quick-Pick&#8217;. They have extended their lead to 9 points after an amazing day 9. Their nearest challenger also had a great day as they moved up 5 spots and into 2nd spot. That team is &#8216;Fine Whines&#8217; who is a previous winner here at the US Open. &#8216;Drop Shot like it&#8217;s Hot&#8217; is loving life in 3rd spot and seems to be making it their home. &#8216;Strung Out&#8217; moved up 4 places and into a prize position, 4th spot.
