Pegula\u2019s precision and court awareness were on full display, as she broke Li five times and never faced a break point herself. Bucsa, playing in her first fourth round at a Slam, showed flashes of brilliance but couldn\u2019t withstand Sabalenka\u2019s relentless pace and depth. Sabalenka has yet to drop a set in the tournament and looks every bit the dominant force she was in 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m feeling great physically and mentally,\u201d Sabalenka said. \u201cI know what it takes to win here, and I\u2019m ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udca5 Vondrousova Rallies Past Rybakina<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The upset of the round as Vondrousova managed to beat Rybakina who was looking to be back at her best. Vondrousova proved that she still is that tricky opponent that you just don&#8217;t want to meet in a grand slam and is now looking to see if she can win her second grand slam after winning Wimbledon in 2023. The final score was 6-4; 5-7; 6-2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfad Krejcikova Ends Townsend\u2019s Dream Run<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Barbora Krejcikova, the 2021 French Open champion, survived a rollercoaster match against fan favorite Taylor Townsend, winning 1-6, 7-6(15), 6-3. Townsend came out blazing, dominating the first set with fearless net play and emotional fire. But Krejcikova\u2019s resilience shone through in a marathon second-set tiebreak that lasted over 20 minutes. After saving multiple match points, she steadied herself in the third to close out the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat tiebreak was one of the toughest moments of my career,\u201d Krejcikova admitted. \u201cTaylor played incredible tennis. I just had to stay calm and fight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\uddd3\ufe0f What\u2019s Next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Quarterfinal spots are on the line, and the tension is palpable. With Djokovic, Alcaraz, Fritz, and Sabalenka all looking strong, the path to the final is narrowing\u2014but don\u2019t count out the underdogs just yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Onto the Fantasy Leaderboard:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have joint leaders after day 8. &#8216;Quick-Pick&#8217; remains in the lead but &#8216;Deuce Bags&#8217; have moved up 6 spots and now also sit in 1st place. These 2 are just 3 points off the leaders. Can you believe it, there is also a tie for 5th between &#8216;Team Tennis&#8217; and &#8216;StringTheory&#8217; who sit just 5 points off the leaders.
