The third day of Wimbledon 2025 delivered excitement and surprises as second-round action continued, with British players making headlines and top seeds tumbling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddf8 Alcaraz Handles the Moment<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Carlos Alcaraz, the reigning champion, cruised past British wildcard Oliver Tarvet<\/strong> in straight sets. While Tarvet\u2014a world No.\u202f733 playing his first Grand Slam main draw\u2014was outclassed, he earned praise from Alcaraz and a warm ovation from the home crowd for his spirited performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 Norrie Upsets Tiafoe<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In one of the day’s biggest upsets, Cameron Norrie<\/strong> defeated No.\u202f12 seed Frances Tiafoe<\/strong> in four sets. The British No.\u202f1 found his rhythm on home turf, using consistency and crowd support to overpower the flashy American.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udfaf Raducanu Rediscovers Her Magic<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Emma Raducanu<\/strong> looked sharp as she swept past 2023 champion Mark\u00e9ta Vondrou\u0161ov\u00e1<\/strong>, winning 6\u20133, 6\u20133. It was one of Raducanu\u2019s most confident performances since her US Open breakthrough and sets up a mouth-watering third-round clash with world No.\u202f1 Aryna Sabalenka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Seeds Continue to Fall<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It was another difficult day for seeded players, especially on the women\u2019s side. Many top-10 players have already been eliminated, leaving the draw wide open. Among the notable exits were Jasmine Paolini<\/strong> and Karol\u00edna Muchov\u00e1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Alcaraz in full control, Raducanu resurging, and more seeds falling, Wimbledon 2025 is shaping up to be both unpredictable and thrilling. The competition only intensifies from here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onto the Fantasy Leaderboard:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving up an impressive 6 positions and into top spot is ‘Fuzzy Green Balls’. They have not only closed the gap on the leader but now is the new leader by 2 points. In 2nd place is our previous leader ‘SERVED’ who did not have a good day 3 dropping a spot after having a 6 point lead. ‘Grasshopper’ also drops a spot and moves down into 3rd. ‘Hard Hitters’ and ‘Sinsational’ remain on the same number of points and move down into 4th. ‘Miss Hits’ and ‘See You in Court’ sit in a joint 6th position and round out the prize positions.
The lucky prizes are still highly contested. Currently it is only 87th spot which is held by 1 team which is ‘Strawberry Fields’.
The wooden spoon is still tightly contested with a joint winner currently between ‘Green Gables’ and ‘Let Go my Toe’.<\/p>\n\n\n
