Round 2 of this years French Open is done and dusted and somehow the rain held away enough yesterday for all the catch up matches to finish on time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The big results during round 2 were:
Andreeva beating 19th seed Azarenka (8 picks);
Bogan beating 20th seed Pavlyuchenkova (picked by 2 people);
Andreescu beating Kalinskaya the 23rd seed (1 pick);
Stearns picked up 9 points as she beat 10th seed, Kasatkina (picked by 13 people);
Tauson beat 9th seed Ostapenko (picked by 19 people);
Danilovic beat 11th seed Collins (picked by 29 people);
Kenin beat 21st seed Garcia (picked by 7 people).
Struff beat Bublik the 19th seed in straight sets,
Kovalik beat Khachanov the 18th seed from 2 sets to love down,
Machac beat Navonne the 31st seed in a 5 set thriller,
Shapovalov found some of his past form as he beat 25th seed, Tiafoe in 4 sets,
Ofner beat 20th seed, Baez from 2 sets to love down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onto the fantasy leaderboard and we have a new leader, ‘Pam the Slam’ who has moved up from 3rd to 1st. She leads by an impressive 7 points over 2nd placed ‘Tennis Turtles’. ‘Jaden’s Team’ has moved up a couple of places and into 3rd place. ‘Eeny Meeny’ and ‘Clayphoria’ sit in a joint 4th on a century of points. ‘Left is Best’ lost a few places but hangs onto a prize in 6th and there is a joint 7th place between ‘Resilient Racquets’ and ‘Miny Moe’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wooden spoon is currently being won by ‘The Ghost’ who sits on 53 points. They need a big couple of days as they already find themselves 11 points off the next closest team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
